1:1 Wild Kin Botanical Counsel Online Sessions
Each Wild Kin Botanical Counsel session is a living conversation between you, myself, and the green kin who step forward to work with you.
This work reconnects you to the old ways of plant lore, ancestral tradition, and elemental wisdom.
It arises from the Wert Galstra lineage, the chant-bearers and herbal magicians of the old North whose wortcunning craft wove healing through story, song, and plant spirit.
Through this ritual session, you’ll deepen your relationship to the plant spirits, to the land, and to the animistic rhythms that pulse through all living things.
Next Block: Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th January
And Wednesday 21st - 23rd January - Booking details below
What is Wild Kin Botanical Counsel

Wild Kin Botanical Counsel is an intimate online space for those seeking plant-guided companionship through life’s thresholds. It is a conversation between you, myself, and the green ones who wish to meet you - part counsel, part listening ritual, part weaving of story as medicine.
Within this held circle we orient toward the living intelligence of plants as kin: guides, witnesses, and mirrors who help us remember our belonging in the wider web. The counsel unfolds through dialogue, felt sense, and mythic imagery rather than prescription, an animist conversation with the world itself.
Each session honours the lineage of Wild Kin Plant Spirit Ritual work yet takes root in a more contemplative form. It invites deep listening across distance, where story, breath, and botanical consciousness bridge the unseen between us.

Your Session with me involves:
1
Discovery Work - Pre-session Preparation
Before we meet, I devote several hours to plant divination, phytognomy, botanomancy, and alchemical meditation. This listening practice gathers wisdom and insight specifically for your session, guided by the plants who wish to work with you.
3
Invocation & Sigil Creation
During or following the session, a personal charm, invocation, or sigil is crafted born from the plants’ teachings and the symbols revealed in divination. This becomes a focus for integration and ongoing prayerful work.
5
Interaction & Tending Guide
You’ll receive a written interaction sheet outlining each medicine, ways to commune with them, and suggestions for ritual or daily tending
2
A 90 - Minute Online Session
We meet via Zoom in a face-to-face conversation held within sacred time. Together we explore the story weave of the plants that have stepped forward, along with any earth-based divination that supports your current terrain. You’re welcome to take notes or record the session for your own reflection.
4
Botanical Essence Blend
A 30 ml bottle of botanical essence drops - a synthesis of your session’s plants in both tincture and flower-essence form is created and posted to you (Australia only).
6
Follow-Up Reflection
Within two weeks, you’re invited to share brief reflections or questions. This written exchange helps integrate the teachings and clarify next steps in your ongoing relationship with the plants.
The Online Session Flow
Each Wild Kin Botanical Counsel session unfolds as a living dialogue between your story and the plants who have come forward to meet you. Though each encounter moves in its own way, it tends to follow this gentle rhythm:
1
Arrival & Orientation
We begin by arriving together in sacred time grounding, acknowledging the lands and ancestors who hold us, and opening the circle of intention. A few breaths to settle and attune to the field of green kin already present.
3
Plant Counsel & Divinatory Dialogue
I share the insights gathered through pre-session divination and the messages emerging as we speak. Together we explore the archetypal medicine and physical virtues of each plant and how they might wish to work with you.
2
Story & Listening
You’re invited to share what feels alive - grief or longing, thresholds or renewal, body sensations, dreams, or recurring motifs. Through this storytelling, the plant allies begin to reveal themselves in image, language, and felt sense
4
Invocation & Symbol Work
As the conversation deepens, words or symbols often arise - these may form your personal invocation, blessing, or sigil. Crafted from the teachings and signatures of your plants, it becomes a living charm to anchor the session’s medicine and guide integration.
5
Integration & Closing
We close with grounding, breath, or a brief blessing to seal the field. You’ll leave with clarity around your plant allies, your invocation or sigil, and clear steps for tending relationship and ritual practice at home.

Why Work with Plant Spirits?

Reawakening Our Kinship with Plants
Plant spirit work invites us to remember what we once knew that we are not separate from nature, but part of a vast and living kinship. Through intentional connection with plant beings, we begin to reweave the ancient threads between human and green world, listening again to the soft, wise voices of botanical consciousness.

Honoring Ancestral Memory
Many of our ancestors lived in deep relationship with the land, guided by plant allies in ceremony, healing, and daily life. This work is a way of remembering them not just in story, but in practice. When we connect with the plants, we often feel the presence of those who walked before us, lighting the path home.

Reigniting the Imaginal Realms
Imagination is not fantasy it is an ancient, vital realm where communication with the unseen takes place. Plant spirit work helps us reclaim this space, opening us to the subtle, mythic, and symbolic languages of nature. Here, we learn to listen differently. We begin to speak in story again.

The Old Ways of Story & Ceremony
Plants have stories to tell. They speak through dreams, through song, through the rustle of leaves and the scent of earth. This work honours the old ways of sharing wisdom through oral traditions, embodied ritual, sacred symbols, and the slow, unfolding pace of nature’s own teachings.

Nature as Mirror for Growth
Working with plant spirits offers a unique path for personal healing and transformation. Plants mirror our patterns, invite our truths, and teach us how to root more fully into ourselves. Through their guidance, we move beyond surface healing and into deep, soul-level integration.

Divination & the Return to Intuition
Divination with plants is an act of listening of trusting the messages that come through from the unseen world. It helps us return to our own inner knowing and the intuitive wisdom that lives beneath logic. In this space, we are reminded that the old ways are not lost they are simply waiting to be remembered.
